This is my first post

This is my first blog. It is about my experience on e-bay. My husband and I started out buying all kinds of stuff on ebay – mostly silver coins, but also stuff like CDs and Clinton Anderson (the best horse trainer on earth!) DVDs for horse training. You would not believe how much money people are willing to pay for those DVDs! Some sold for more than you could have them for on the Clinton Anderson website! Anyhow, I am getting sidetracked here. We decided to try our hand on selling on ebay. First was a Zippo lighter that my husband had gotten from Marlboro. It was a piece of cake! Great! So we decided to put a CB radio with an amplifier on ebay that my husband (he’s an OTR  trucker) had since I had gotten him a new one for Christmas. I spent a couple of hours creating the sales ad. Looked great. Then I posted it on ebay with a posting time of seven days. Within a few hours, the bids started rolling in! The next day we got an email saying that ebay would take the post down because the CB was illegal. We figured it was some guy that had one of his own on ebay and was trying to get us to take it down ourselves.  After about 3 days, the radio was getting close to the price that we had wanted. Next thing I know, I  can’t find the CB post anywhere! Instead I had an email from ebay, saying the post was taken down! Apparently, commercial CBs cannot be posted on ebay! Who would have thought!  One would think they’d have some program that catches this before the auction starts and not let the auction run for 5 days and then take it down!
